First fixture of 2010 was away to Blackheath Wanderers on a very cold day. In the first half the ref awarded a justified penalty due to a challenge in the box. Shane however pulled off a superb save to keep the game at 0 - 0. | ||

Halfway through the first half Thamesmead Town brough on a few subs including Christman who after about 10 minutes took on a couple of players and struck a shot above and out of reach of the keeper to put Thamesmead 1-0 up and get his first league goal of the season. | ||

Shane continued pulling off some superb saves against a good passing Blackheath side. Thamesmead Town got a corner late in the second half which fell to Mayo who put it away to score his first goal of the season. | ||

In the second half Blackheath were awarded another penalty which Blackheath duly put away, straight from centre Thamesmead gave the ball away only for Blackheath to go on and score straight away to bring the score to 2-2. | ||

The game carried on deadlocked until the ref awarded Thamesmead a penalty which Tyrrell placed to the right hand side. | ||
